Event accreditation, sorted

The calm operating system
for event accreditation.

Suppliers and crew enter their own details through simple self-service portals. Your team only reviews the exceptions. Credentials, compliance, gate scanning and reconciliation — all handled, all automatic, all auditable.

Before and after

Accreditation is broken.
You've just been calling it Tuesday.

The old world

It's the week of the show. Twelve browser tabs. A WhatsApp thread of 47 unread messages. Three slightly-different versions of the master crew list. One supplier hasn't sent insurance documents in two months. A passport photo of someone you've never met just landed in your inbox.

The accreditation lead hasn't been home before midnight since Monday. You're not running accreditation — you're running an inbox.

The Bloop world

Suppliers onboard their own crew through a portal that doesn't need a login. Crew enter their own emergency contacts and dietary preferences. Documents track to expiry on their own.

Only the requests that genuinely need a human decision land in your queue, with the reason called out. Credentials generate automatically. The gate gives fast, unambiguous decisions. When the strike teams roll out, your reconciliation is already done.

From kickoff to strike

Four moves.
That's the show.

Set up your event

Define your pass types, zones, show days and access points. Bloop carries the matrix through every downstream step — supplier intake, approvals, gate scanning, reconciliation. Most events are set up inside an afternoon.

Invite your suppliers

A magic link lands in their inbox. They accept, onboard their own crew, upload compliance documents and issue per-person self-fill links to their team. No accounts, no passwords, no support tickets.

Approve the exceptions

Bloop's queue surfaces the requests that need your eyes — expired documents, quota breaches, conflict flags — with the reason highlighted and the fix one click away. The compliant majority flows through with a changes-requested loop instead of email ping-pong.

Scan, manage, close

Real-time green-amber-red gate decisions with a reason on every refusal. Live dashboards across every gate, zone and day. Variance requests routed to the right department head. When the last guest leaves, your per-contractor reconciliation is already written.

What's inside

Everything an accreditation lead needs.
Nothing they don't.

Self-service portals

Magic-link access for suppliers, per-person magic-link forms for crew. No accounts, no passwords, no IT tickets.

Exception-only review queue

The compliant majority sails through. Only the requests that need a human decision land in your queue — with the reason called out.

Automatic QR credentials

Approve a person and a QR credential generates instantly — emailed to the holder with a public link they can view, print or keep on their phone. No app to install.

Real-time gate scanning

Phones or fixed scanners. Green, amber or red — with the reason — in a moment. Offline-first, so it keeps working when the signal doesn't.

Live event dashboards

Approved, pending, inducted, on site — across every gate, zone, day and supplier — updated as it happens.

Compliance tracking

Insurance, RAMS, DBS — uploaded once per supplier. Auto-alerts at 30, 14 and 7 days before expiry. You're never the last to know.

Bulk import with validation

CSV or XLSX. Auto-mapped columns, row-level validation, every issue surfaced before you commit a single record.

One-click variance handling

Mid-event uplifts routed to the right department head with the right delegated authority. Approve in a tap. Quota lifts immediately.

Audit trail & reconciliation

Every approval, override, upload and scan logged with who, what, when, why. Close the event with a per-contractor report ready to share.

Guest lists & ticketing

Artist and sponsor guest lists with plus-ones and public token pages — and See Tickets barcode sync with validate-and-register-back gate scanning.

Plays well with your stack

Bloop fits where
you already work.

Your team already signs in with an identity provider. Your ticketing runs through See Tickets. Your production schedule lives in a Google Sheet. Bloop plugs into the tools you already use — and stays out of the ones you don't.

Sheets & Drive

Resend
Twilio
S3 · R2

See Tickets

Paid and comp guest-list barcodes sync to See Tickets, and gate scans are validated and registered back — so your ticketing record and your door stay in step, even offline.

Google Sheets & Drive

Bloop reads your live production schedule from the master sheet and writes facilities orders back to it — and mirrors supplier compliance documents into each supplier's own Drive folder.

Stripe & Square

Take card payments for catering and pay-online orders through Stripe, or run a paid guest list on your own Square account — each confirmed on a verified webhook, never a client redirect.

Single sign-on (OIDC)

Your whole team signs in through your existing identity provider — Auth0, Clerk, Okta, Google, Microsoft Entra, Keycloak and other OIDC providers. Suppliers and crew never need an account at all.

Email & SMS

Transactional email through Resend and SMS through Twilio: invites, magic links, credential delivery and expiry reminders, sent automatically.

Object storage & import/export

Photos and documents live in any S3-compatible bucket — AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2 or MinIO. Import people from CSV/XLSX and export your reconciliation at close-out.

On the roadmap Apple & Google Wallet passes, cross-event crew profiles and a gov.uk Right-to-Work check — designed, not yet live.

No app, no login

Credentials land
in their pocket.

The moment you approve someone, their QR credential is emailed to them and lives on a personal public link. They open it on any phone — nothing to install, no account to create — and print it or keep it on their lock screen. Re-issue, suspend or revoke it and the link updates, so what's on their phone is always the source of truth.

Gate scan

Designed for the realities of a live gate — bright sun, gloved hands, noisy radios, crew arriving in waves. Phone or fixed scanner. Big, fast, unmistakable decisions.

Reason codes attached to every refusal so your gate manager can resolve the rare exceptions on the spot. Offline-first, so a dropped signal never stops the door. Every decision logged for the audit trail.

  • GREEN — clear to enter
  • AMBER — gate manager override needed
  • RED — refused, reason on screen

Why teams choose Bloop

Built for the reality of live events.

90%+

of the work devolved to suppliers and crew — staff handle exceptions, not transcription.

Offline-first

the gate keeps scanning through signal loss and syncs the moment it's back.

Zero passwords

for suppliers and crew — magic links only. SSO for your own team.

Audit-grade

every approval, override, upload and scan logged with who, what, when and why.

Built to be trusted

Audit-grade
by default.

Structured audit log

Every sensitive mutation writes an audit entry — who did what, to which entity, when — with a typed actor (user, supplier, system), so the trail is forensic-grade.

Multi-tenant isolation

Every query is scoped by organisation and event through zero-trust middleware, re-checked on each request and enforced at the database layer with foreign-key constraints.

Encrypted in transit

TLS everywhere. Documents and photos are held in S3-compatible object storage, so encryption and residency follow your bucket's policy.

Magic-link auth, rotatable scanner keys

No passwords for suppliers or crew — scoped, short-lived sessions instead. Scanner devices get API keys shown once, stored only as a hash, and rotatable any time.

Role-based access control

Owner, admin, manager and viewer roles with per-event membership, enforced server-side on every request. The client never touches the database directly.

Built for show day

The gate runs as an offline-first PWA: a service worker and an offline mutation-replay queue keep it scanning through a flaky signal, syncing the moment it's back.

The bits you usually ask

Questions,
answered straight.

Do suppliers and crew need an account or an app?

No. Suppliers get a magic link to a self-service portal, and each crew member gets a per-person magic link. No password, no account, no app — they open a link in any browser and fill in their own details.

What happens at the gate if the signal drops?

The gate runs as an offline-first progressive web app. A service worker and an offline mutation queue keep it scanning through a flaky signal and sync every scan the moment connectivity returns.

Does Bloop work with See Tickets?

Yes. Paid and comp guest-list barcodes sync to See Tickets, and gate scans are validated and registered back to See — so your ticketing record and your door stay in step.

Where is our data stored, and is it GDPR-friendly?

Structured data lives in MySQL; documents and photos live in S3-compatible object storage (AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2 or MinIO), so encryption at rest and data residency follow the bucket and region you choose. Access is magic-link and SSO with role-based control. See our privacy policy and security overview.

Can our team sign in with SSO?

Yes. Staff sign in through your existing OIDC identity provider — Auth0, Clerk, Okta, Google, Microsoft Entra, Keycloak and others.

How long does onboarding take, and is there a minimum term?

Most events are set up in an afternoon, and every plan includes a 30-minute onboarding walkthrough. Plans run on a three-month minimum, billed in GBP excluding VAT — see pricing.
